The course comprised 16 hours and was based on the Watson Headache® Approach, a protocol for the skilled assessment and management of the upper cervical (neck) spine in headache and migraine conditions. The Watson Headache® Approach is recognized as a scientifically researched method of examination and treatment.
The diagnostic accuracy of the Watson Headache® Approach is unparalleled.
Being a native of Sherwood, I am very excited to be a part of my community. I have been blessed with training in cutting-edge manual therapy techniques from leaders in the Physical Therapy profession. These studies have taken me to Australia, Colorado, California, Nicaragua, Washington and Oregon. I graduated from Pacific Lutheran University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science Degree and received my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Regis University in 2008.
I am a husband to an incredible wife and a father to two beautiful girls. Being an outdoor enthusiast, you can find me hiking, fishing, camping, cycling, climbing, running, bouldering, snowshoeing, snowboarding, and walking wherever the path takes me. As a family, we have a passion to give back to the cancer community to enhance their lives, mainly through exercise and lifestyle changes. I am a cancer survivor. Being diagnosed at the age of 11, I strongly feel that my tolerance to treatments and my physical recovery was greatly attributed to me staying active. Research backs this up as well. Once in remission, sports and exercising gave me confidence as I returned to life outside of cancer. I desire to show patients and survivors what exercising and doing activities they enjoy can do to enhance their lives. But most of all, that their lives have a great purpose!
Below is a list of the courses and certifications I have taken/acquired:
